I want to make a difference within the LGBT society, which is why I have applied to be the social secretary. I want to do this for various reasons, such as I want to improve the society for the better (even though its great now) I want to make this a place where people can have fun with people they know (or don’t) and I want to help maintain strong relationships which have been formed throughout my first year here.
I believe that I would make a great social secretary because of my experience organising various social events on a large and small scale such as a gig with seven bands, a college Christmas concert and not to mention every week for my friends.
I believe that I am a persuasive and very talkative person, which would hopefully enable me to create fantastic and busy social events, from various ideas such as themed nights, pub-crawls and more socialising together as a society, and I know not every student likes going out and drinking so I would also like to do things such as pub quizzes, games and hopefully create laughter.
With this I hope that I am the right candidate for you.

I feel that Sarah would a good social sectary as she is a very friendly with people and also a very sociably person. She also loves organising nights out and does her very best to make them enjoyable for the most about of people possible. This is a role I feel Sarah would be suited to and would enjoy very much and feel that given this chance she would work very well in the role.
